Our Team

Aleph Foundation was founded in 2019 in Tehran. This artistic organization works on creating an independent platform for New Music as well as building a community of Iranian composers, artists and thinkers. Regarding these, Aleph attempts to help the growth and development of Iranian contemporary art scene.Aleph’s activities are mainly focused on New Music, yet organizing festivals, events, academic courses and research programs, the projects also cover a vast area of fields, from Arts to Humanities and Science.

 “Aleph new music concert-seminars” is one the most well-known events by Aleph Foundation. As a part of “Aleph Decentralized Festival”, this recurring event is held in different cities in Iran, containing concerts, panel discussions, talks, and open calls.

 “Aleph Academy”, another project of the foundation, consists of educational courses and camps and online learning programs. Highlighting the idea of decentralization and in order to augment the accessibility to cultural-educational programs, many scholarships are awarded annually for such courses.

 Aleph also funds and facilitates research programs both for freelancers and resident researchers in the fields of Arts, Music, Philosophy and Humanities.
