Farbod Fakharzadeh
Farbod Fakharzadeh is an artist, curator and researcher based in Helsinki, Finland. His work deals with concepts of memory-work and history-politics and revolves around notions of collective construction and alternative ways of working and dreaming together. He holds a Master’s degree in Visual Culture, Curating and Contemporary Art from Aalto University and has been exhibiting as an artist and curator, as well as working on several projects and initiatives dedicated to inclusivity, equity, diversity and anti-racism.
He is a co-founder, curator and producer at Ars Pori Megastore, an annual large scale art project that takes over public spaces and Taidekirppis, an archive and artistic platform dedicated to Finland-based emerging artists and artworkers. He also works as an associate producer for Kenno Filmi, a co-operative production house in Helsinki, proposing reconfigurations of film and media art production practices through creative exchanges.
