Horizon Étendu is a Composition Academy that offers a six-month study programme for aspiring  composers who wish to develop their composition skills and embark on the path of a professional artistic career. As part of the program, students have the opportunity to work with renowned composers on their own music and explore aspects of technique, notation, instrumental writing and concept development. The Academy also offers consultations, lectures with guest composers and artistic coaching from the programme’s mentors. In addition, the selected participants will work on creating a new composition for the Academy ensembles in residence, which will be professionally recorded at the end of the academy programme. 

Moreover, as a part of this academy and under the supervision of the performers of the ensembles the students of the conservatoire of Nice will work on the new compositions composer.

The Edition 2023 is dedicated to Iranian composers living in Iran and abroad.
