To explore experiences related to an Iranian instrumental orchestra and its conducting, examples from the repertoire of Iranian classical music will be performed during the lecture with the help of a group of volunteer musicians from the Youth Orchestra.
Additionally, at the end of the program, the group will perform two pieces, Diba and Toranji, by Babak Ale Heidar, showcasing a condensed demonstration of the possibilities of an Iranian instrumental orchestra for performing contemporary works.
