Sina Sedghi pianist and composer was born in Sanandaj, Iran in 1989. He has studied composition with Alireza Mashayekhi and piano with Rozita Shaker. Since 2008 he joined the “Tehran Music Group” and “Iranian Orchestra for New Music” and in 2013 developed his career as soloist and composer with this orchestra. In December 2014 and 2016 some of his chamber music premiered in “Hans Eisler Conservatory” in Berlin.
Ali Hashemlou, Born in 1989, Tehran, Is a composer, multimedia artist, sound artist and organiser of sound related events, based in Rasht. He studied theory of composition under the supervision of Ali Ahmadifar in Rasht city, Iran. He complete his basic studies in Art supervised by Nader Mashayekhi in Tehran.
Seyed Motahar Hosseini was born in 1987, she started playing the piano at the age of twelve as a self-taught person.In 2009, she began her bachelor’s degree at the “university of applied sciences and technology” under the supervision of Professor Reza Taheri, and then completed her master’s degree at the “Tehran Art University” under his supervision.
Karan Selajegeh is a composer and piano player. He After studying architecture at Tehran University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, he studied piano at Tehran University of Arts (under the supervision of Raphael Minaskanian) and at the S.R.R. Paris Conservatory in the field of composition (under the supervision of Edith Ken Doshizi and Stephane de Gerando).
Shervin Abbasi was born in 1985.
he has a Master of art in composition from Soreh University and began his early career with grandmasters like Mohsen Nafar and Bahram Saed (Setar instrument), Naser Rahimi (flute instrument) Amir Moeini and Masoud Ebrahimi since 1999 (harmony and counterpoint).
Nima A Rowshan (b.1985) began studying music by playing the piano. By entering the Art university of Tehran in 2005, he studied with “Hamed Mohajer” and in the same time he started composition experimentally and through studying the great composers. Nima later attended master classes of “Alireza Mashayekhi”. He co-founded “Ensemble-M” in 2006 to perform & introduce contemporary classical music in Iran. In 2009 he decided to pursue further studies with “Michel Merlet” at the “ècole normale de musique de Paris”.
Arvin Sedaghatkish (Tehran 1974), author, music researcher, music critic and composer, who wrote many articles, essays and reviews in Persian and English. He is/was a member of the editorial board of the Farhang-o-Āhang (2005-2010), Harmonytalk (2004-now), Āineyi-e-Khiāl (2007-2008), Ketāb-e-Sāl-e-Shaydā (2007 – 2011), Mehregāni biquarterly (2010-2013) (Co-founder), Zangār (2016-2017) (scientific advisor) and writes continuously in many other musicological journals and musical magazines like Honar-e-Moosighi, Gozāresh-e-Moosighi, Māhoor Quarterly and etc.
