Samira Vaseghnia

Samira Vaseghnia was born in 1988 in Tehran, Iran. While studying philosophy, she continued her music studies under the supervision of pianists Farimah Ghawamsadri and Gagik Babayan and composition with Alireza Mashayekhi.
Her works have been performed several times at the Iranian Music Festival “Classic to Contemporary Music” in Tehran. Some of her works include “Toccata”, “Autonomy”, “Point to Line” for piano and “Toward point” for two violas and a string quartet.
