Saba Safavi
Born in Tehran in 1990, Saba Safavi is a viola player with a rich background in orchestral collaboration and contemporary music interpretation. Since the inception of her musical journey, she has showcased her talent with renowned orchestras such as the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, Teatro Cilea Symphony Orchestra in Italy, and the Osnabruck Symphony Orchestra in Germany. She has also contributed to various ensembles including Kantus, Nilper, Ghanbari Mehr, and Kamarata, among others.
Throughout her career, Saba Safavi has recorded and performed works by contemporary Iranian composers, adding her unique interpretation and style to their compositions. Currently, she serves as a viola player in the Tabula Rasa ensemble in Italy. Additionally, she is pursuing improvisation studies at the Siena Jazz Academy, further enriching her musical expertise.
In addition to her performance endeavors, Saba Safavi has a history of teaching music. She has taught at the Tehran Girls’ Music Conservatory and collaborated with music academies in Tehran, sharing her knowledge and passion for music with aspiring musicians.
