Nima Zahedi
Nima Zahedi was born in Tabriz in May 1975. In addition to his professional career as an analyst and designer of processes and management systems, Zahedi is an accomplished violinist. He began studying the violin at the age of eight under the tutelage of Dr. Hamid Zahedi, his father. His musical journey continued with orchestral participation, joining the Symphony Orchestra of the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation and the Youth Symphony Orchestra.
Zahedi’s musical talents extend to teaching, as he taught violin at the School of Arts and Literature affiliated with the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation. He furthered his violin skills through specialized masterclasses organized by the Cultural Relations Office of the Austrian Embassy, benefiting from the expertise of instructors from renowned conservatories in Vienna and Graz.
Over the years, Zahedi has been an active member of various orchestras, including the Symphony Orchestra of the Bahman Cultural Center and the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra under the leadership of Thomas Christensen-David. He has participated in numerous concerts and recitals, performing duets and violin-guitar compositions alongside Salomeh Zahedi and Babak Falsafi.
Zahedi’s musical contributions also extend to recording, having performed on over 100 published works and film soundtracks since 1997. He has served as the concertmaster of the Tehran Symphony Orchestra and the Niavaran Cultural Center Orchestra.
