Mona Taherian

Mona Taherian (b.1980) began her flute studies in 1995 under the guidance of Mr. Naser Rahimi. She continued her training with Dr. Azin Movahed and, more recently, has benefited from the expertise of Saeed Taghdisi. She has participated in several masterclasses with renowned flutists such as Alieh Banisho, Philippe Racine, and Martin Rost. Mona has also achieved success in various music festivals, including the Fajr Young Musician Festival and various student competitions, earning first and second place rankings.
As a soloist, Mona has collaborated with orchestras such as Farabi Orchestra, Honar Media Orchestra, Arad Orchestra, and Tehran Flute Ensemble. She has been a member of the Niavaran Orchestra and Tehran Symphony Orchestra as a flutist.

• Recital of flute and piano with Shadi Zendehdel at Rudaki Hall and Avini Hall
• Performance of Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 by Bach and Concerto for Flute by Vivaldi with the University of Art Orchestra at Farabi Hall
• Performance of Karl Philipp Emanuel Bach’s flute concerto with the Arad Orchestra
• Performance of Mozart and Haydn flute quartets at Ersbahan Cultural Center
• Flute and piano recital with Arthur Avanesov
