Biography
Maryam Soufisiavash is a student at the University of Alberta studying for her Doctorate of Musical Arts in piano performance. She is a pianist interested in contemporary music, performance studies, and philosophy. She is currently exploring the subject of embodiment, identification, and body politics in performance.
