Biography
Layla Ramezan (b. 1983) began studying piano in Tehran. Arriving in France in 2000, she joined the École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot, then the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne in Switzerland where she graduated in interpretation and accompaniment.
She meets notable musical personalities such as William Blank, Helmut Deutsch, Jean-Claude Pennetier, Svetlana Navasardyan (en) and Philippe Albera, performs with musicians such as Jean-Marc Luisada, Eliane Reyes, Brigitte Balleys, Christophe Beau, Djamchid Chemirani, works alongside composers such as Tristan Murail, Luis Naon, Nicolas Bolens and Michael Jarrell.
