Golfam Khayam
Golfam Khayam is born and grew up in Iran in a family of artists in Tehran. She holds “Master of Music” from the College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati. Master of Interprétation Specialisée Solist and composition at Geneva University (HEM) in Switzerland. She is currently lecturer in Tehran Art University. Her music is being performed worldwide as she is also active as a performer/improviser. She has been giving lectures in Royal Aarhus Academy of music, Copenhagen Royal Academy and Geneva University.
So far she has also published with Doberman-Yppan, Hermes records. Her music is so far featured in Elbphilharmonie, Metropolitan Museum, NPR ”songs we love”, Danish Cultural Radio, BBC3. Golfam is winner of numerous prizes which includes International Rostrum of Composer in category of windows on the world as well as full grant prize of HES-SO for “new vocabulary” composition and research project, selected composer in festival aix en provence for opera residency.
