Behdad Bahrami

Behdad Bahrami was born in 1964 in Tehran. He began learning music on his own at the age of eight with a keyboard and, after a few years, started piano under the supervision of teachers such as Nima Varasteh and Chista Gharib. During this period, besides mastering piano playing, he delved into composing and arranging in genres like jazz, rock, and classical.
In 1989, he recorded some of his solo piano pieces with Reza Tajbakhsh in the album “The Last Smile” which was released in 1990. The album was nominated for the Best Album of 2011 on Whisperings Radio. In late 2011, Bahrami entered the Tehran Art University to study composition under the guidance of professors like Mohammad Reza Tafazzoli, Amin Honarmand, and Hamid Reza Dibazar.
