Arpine Israelyan
Arpine Israelyan was born in 1971 in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, into a family of musicians. Due to her abundant talent and deep interest in music, she commenced formal education in piano performance at the Chaikovsky Music School in 1977. After 12 years of study, she completed her primary and secondary education at the same artistic center in 1989. In that same year, she successfully passed the entrance exam for the State Conservatory of Music in Yerevan, known as the “Komitas Conservatory,” where she continued her higher education in piano performance.
In 1994, she earned her master’s degree from the conservatory and became a distinguished student. Subsequently, she joined the faculty as a teacher. Alongside her teaching career, she started her professional performance activities in 1996 with the “Orchestra of Wind Instruments of Yerevan” and, from 2000 onwards, participated in the “Contemporary Music Soloists” group led by Zaven Vartanian, focusing on the interpretation of modern music.
From 1986 to 2000, she had numerous performances in music halls in Yerevan and participated in various music festivals. In 1994, she achieved an honorary diploma at the “Sarajev Music Festival” competition, followed by winning the third prize and a special award at the “Elmasi International Festival” in 1996. In 1997, she received an honorary diploma at the competition organized by the “Foundation Lisa.” Throughout her life, she had opportunities to perform in Rome, the capital of Italy, and the United Arab Emirates.
